" T R U S T " I've lost it.... NEVER TRUST BANKS.

Pretty broad statement, but it's true. I don't have it any more. Why? Let us start with the American Media: stories that we know are true aren't even reported by MainStream USA. I have to go to " The Five " on Fox News for the yelling and screaming to pick through the hassle to find out what's really going on. Who IS credible, and who is not? The Chief law enforcement officer is practically indicted by a Congressinal Committee and what happens? Nothing. 2008, Summer: Presidential Candidate, "by the end of my first term, the nation debt will be half of what it is now." (try double.) 2008, same guy, " everything will be transparent, on the internet." (not yet, not once, nope, zilch) Amendment 2 is being subverted by at least two Supreme Court Justices with the open consent of the White House. Poverty is at all time high, cities in America are now declaring bankruptcy - that never happened before. Not only banks have been bailed out, but the largest corporations in the country have received tax-payer funded rescues, so now it appears smaller to medium sized cities. Some of those cities appear to have city administrators that alledgedly have pilfered millions of taxpayer dollars in outright theft, or other illegal means for years without legitamate audit. Wall Street Banks have reportedly wrecked the entire American financial system, gotten the taxpayer to bail them out, and if we are to beleive our newsprint, we have been "paid back with interest" (sure). Other news stories also indicate the Wall Street schooner drivers are back to business as usual, cynical habits unbroken. But, then again, "I only believe what I read in the newspapers," as my grandfather used to say. My grandfather was an ex-oil tycoon on Wall Street prior to the 29 crash lost it all moved to Philadelphia and sold vacuum cleaner supplies to banks and business offices for the rest of his life. He had a family to support and did what he had to do to keep us all together. HE DIDN'T TRUST BANKS, he told us in the late 1940s, and for the rest of my life, I wore that brand, never to forget. Ultimately, 70s later, HE WAS RIGHT - never trust banks.
