Another SHOOTING Family Values Center - Chick Fil A sandwiches and a Gay Advocate
Go figure this one out: the lunatic of the day shows up at an Organization funded to promote family values. Comes now the bird-brain with his pockets stuffed with Chick Fil A chicken sandwiches, a handgun and two magazines which (thanks to an alert guard at said Family Values Institute) he does NOT get to use.
Said lame brain comes from his own job it is reported at some organization liberally promoting and supporting a, how shall we put this liberally? an alternative lifestyle.
Anyway, Hoot Gibson shows up with his cap pistol, manages to wing one of the guards, the other wrestles him to the ground,and, I guess his firearm got caught up in all that taffeta, and down he goes in a soft crunch.
TV shot, cops, handcuffs, the poor dear gingerly being placed into the rear seat of a squad car, the police being ever so careful in front of the various lenses cranking away, smiles everywhere.
My point?
Never in my memory has an election year drawn such craziness. Never have politicians in this country taken leave of their common sense, ruining the electoral process.
Raving and ranting about guns available to the public makes no sense to me in the middle of all this madness. In the Roman days, soldiers found ways of slaughtering each other by the hundreds of thousands with knives and clubs, spears, chains and battering rams, boiling oil and other barbaric war like codes too uncivilian to mention here.
In the days of the Tudors, 'civilized' people slaughtered women by snapping their necks slowly in execution chairs or incinerating them in stakes.
Look closely at craziness that surrounds us THIS YEAR. My God, we have Christian truck drivers invading rural childrens' schools and shooting young girls in the head because they don't believe the same religious beliefs as he does. We have a gay man with chicken sandwiches stuffed in his pocket rushing into a building to kill people who support family values. A crazy young boy who wants to kill unarmed women in a shopping center. A deranged young man who wants to be a movie character and kill everyone who opposes him. All murderous lunatics, all of them. The Nazi's did it with gas, with hangman's nooses. They stopped doing it with bullets because it was cheaper to use other methods.
How can you be a sane person, in your own mind, look at a little child and WANT to take their life? In a museum, as a docent, I once encountered an old Nazi. I asked that question. His answer?
" Anyone can be conditioned to feel that way about human life - anyone, even you. "
