Adolph Hitler...I have a theory

After an extensive study on Hitler, the second World War, talking with and recording personal histories of veterans on both sides of the conflict American and German, reviewing records in Geneva Switzerland of combatants, prisoners, of the slaughtered, of people caught up in the insanity, I can only come up with one conclusion.
Adolph Hitler was nuts. He was crazy. This was not supported by his personal psychiatrist who was German, who, I believe was also a Nazi, so, take that cum grano salis.
However, we do know a large proportion of his inner circle of high command generals, including Field Marshall Rommel, needed, no, WANTED, him gone. That point of view gave Rommel a one way ticket to a pistol exit of this life.
     I digress.
My theory: General Manheim, one of Hitler's highest and most trusted became frustrated trying to convince the Austrian corporal how to play war. Most probably, half the room behind Manheim felt the same.
If any of those guys had half the guts they had hanging 13 year old unarmed little girls in the camps, they should have drawn their pistols and shot that lunatic right in the head.
The war would have been over in a week and they knew it.
By D-Day, half the General Staff knew they lost and were scared to death to even talk about it. All were cowards. Only VonShtaffenberg was the true German hero and many of today's Germans will secretly admit it.
They should have shot the nutty little runt right on the spot and saved millions of innocent lives.
