Murder by Gunfire - Solution?

Everybody goes and forth about the death penalty in this country. Myself, I have wobbled on it several times. I do so, again.
     On these blogs, I read today about a number of reports about gun violence in Washington, DC. There are a lot of them there. This is a suggestion, what the slicko, waffling politicians call "talking Points," here goes.

1. Speaking about just Washington DC because that's where a lot of them are, they seem to be caused in a heat of anger, passion - lashing out in alcoholic fits or drug driven crazes.
2. No thought is ever given to long term consequences - shoot kill, bleed, run, lie. Shooters do not think of what happens tomorrow. No thought goes into it.
3. Most appear ill educated or not at all.
4. I'm not aware of ANY studies done as to family situations, but I'm willing to wager shooter's family's are broken, most likely fathers are missing.
5. In America, measured as a whole this country ranks 4th or 5th from the TOP in murders across the world.
6. World wide - if you drop out New York, Washington, Chicago, Detroit and Atlanta, America drops to fourth from the bottom in murders on the planet.

 My suggestion: in the event of firearms murder under the above circumstances, the shooter, arrested,, be given a fair and impartial trial, then hanged by dawn after the verdict is given. All appeals are struck down. We should execute them with the same justice visited the Nazi War Criminals in the dock during the Nuremberg War Crimes Trials.


Those heinous criminals were taken out the very next day and hanged. The murderous criminals who slay innocent Americans on our streets, given fair trials by a jury of their peers, declared guilty, should be dispatched.


Further, we should "test" that brand of justice ONLY in the five cities mentioned above to see if that works as effectively as it should. After an effective period, ascertained by authorities in power, we may have a more effective method of crime prevention.
