Lavar Burton on Newtown Shootings

I caught Mr. Burton"s comments on tv last night. I was surprised and encouraged at such an even handed,
enlightened viewpoint on the violence within American culture. He expressed various influences that have permeated our country.
     He was not political, not racist, had a cool, well thought out set of opinions. I hope the main stream media seek him out in the future for ideas, input and guidance. He has something of value to contribute.
