WHY WE HATE CONGRESS..
Lets see, now: The "Super-Committee" is now a super-bust. The couldn't agree on a trip to the bathroom,let alone on how to save the American economy. I'll bet they all agree on their next self imposed salary increase.
Eleven % of them are millionaires - that rests well with most of us who are below the $44,000 mid-line wage level. Recent Press Reports indicate Congressional Aproval by the US public is at an historical low of 9%. ( They wish they had Obama's approval ratings at 49%).
Just in: insider trading is LEGAL for them, but if I tried it, I get an all-expense paid vacation in the Bernie M Suite in Federal Prison resort. No wonder they spend a ton of money to get IN TO OFFICE and usually leave richer after they "retire." I hear the ground-swell for "minimum wage" for Congress persons, don't you?
And just today, I read that Congress just borrowed MILLIONS from China, then lent it back to them to finance a project they wanted to build in that country to compete with our industries.
Yes, it was on Page 213, buried deep. I wouldn't trust ANYTHING any Congress person said to me, no matter what. There is a book out with the title, something along the lines, " Throw the bums out!!"
Not a bad idea.
