Child Abuse, Coach Joe,the children revolting in the streets, Penn State College and the Football Scandal
At this writing, the question in the sycophant media has been: should Joe Paterno be "dismissed?" Other such language has been
That's all.
Ten and eleven year old boys were being raped in the college showers by huge adult men, he knew, just told his boss, dropped the phone, 9 years ago, and went on about his business of winning football games.
I do not know what the law requires in Pennsylvania, but I do know in Arizona if an educator knows of such knowledge, they are REQUIRED to alert the legal authorities at once.
To hell with your boss, pick up the phone and call the cops. In my own heart, knowledge of such atrocious action demands nothing less than a Marine Division hitting the front door of the Athletic Department, and I do mean NOW.
Paterno, the President, who I assume was the "boss" he called, all knew in 2002, and all failed to do anything.
This does not justify the level of shameful in my opinion, unless the Penn State Board has black and white glossies of the state Attorney General performing animal acts on dairy cows, Pennsylvania AG's office should launch the full force of the law on everyone even remotely connected to this abomination.
The fact that this is football has nothing to do with it. If this was the science department, auto mechanics, spherical geometry, or nursing school, makes zero difference. It is an unconscionable assault on children and should draw the full might of law enforcement NOW.
The demonstration of the children from the student body proves nothing: vis a vis it reminds me of the demonstrations of the 60's where the same brainless, thoughtless babble came out of their mouths then, as does now. No fully developed human being in college can be expected to value the complicated situation that lays before them.
Their value scale? Yo, man, fo-ball be my life!! Yo, Jo!!
