"The Death of the West"...or, "Dont sweat the Thundershowers"

A long time ago, George Carlin was funny. A long time ago. I believe he did the "hippy, dippy weather man" bit before he lost his soul in drugs. It was a short story about a weatherman predicting strong thundershowers approaching Chicago and a flock of Russian ICBMs flying over the Polar Ice Cap, so he quips at the end, " don't sweat the thundershowers."
So goes the fate of our country in the little read book by conservative prognosticator Pat Buchanon and oftime presidential hopeful. He cites statistical data on birth (and death, and fertility rates in European, American, and should I dare say 'brainy' countries) that are in a death spiral.
Populations that had hereto fed the planet with science, art, nourished the mud-ball with growth in all areas of human habitation. Now, he contends, no...proves by stats, that we are slowly dying off. Italy, by it's own scientists declarations, will be a " THEME PARK," by the end of the century, populated only by third world workers imported by the boatload to do grunt work left by indolent, spoiled Italian women childless, chasing La Dolce Vita, doubling up together in Trustevere to save money, buy the best leather shoes, cocktails and travel worldwide.
Think of it - a "theme park." My God! The rest is true of countless countries all over Europe and it can be said of the US and most of the highly IQ rated Pacific Rim countries.
Third world countries continue to rage ahead with childbirth as Buchanan states, filling the planet to the tune of " ONE MEXICO every 15 months."
Both Clinton AND Buchanan feel the surge of ill trained, ill mannered, hungry, needy third world immigrants that currently surround Paris, in their suburbs paint the picture of the future for most of ourcivilized world. Both gentleman seemed to agreed that OUR country, America, will be " a third world country," by 2050, about 40 years from this writing.
Like the late great George Carlin once said, "don't sweat the thundershowers, folks."
