MURDER RATES IN AMERICAN BIG CITIES
Ok, the stats are out on the murder rates for all the big cities in the US of A, and they are NOT good. This organized "HATE THE COPS" rip-tide currently going through the culture (sub-culture) is having massive effects on the body counts in cities from New York to San Francisco. Liberal mayors in both those cities have drawn down storms of protests regarding civilian killings easily preventable through more careful planning and proper policing which they ignore.
Most notably is Baltimore, scene of the obscene riots of a few months ago, the citizen up in arms over the death of their favorite drug dealer, dead in a police van. Understand six cops were arrested and jailed, a national cry went up in the sub-communities hollering for a drug dealer arrested by the police. A man with a criminal record doing what the police arrested him for - pedalling drugs.
Went into the van alive, came out dead. Six cops jailed by the Mayor and City Prosecutor remarking on the front steps of city hall for all to hear, a pre-judgement that any third grader would shudder to think that that the cops could ever possibly get a fair trail in Baltimore if not Maryland itself.
Ensuing riots, the police are under orders not to fight back, to retreat. " it's only goods, don't shoot," the Mayor instructs them. At the end of the riot, the police, not in riot gear at the order of the Mayor, fill hospital ERs with injuries, the rioters torch what they can, police are counted among the injured.
Frustrated and angry at the Mayor and City taking sides with the rioters, police have taken a less than forceful stand in crime that calls for aggressive tactics in rough neighborhoods. In Baltimore, that means most of the city.
Hence, the murder rate has climbed precipitously, lately to record breaking levels per month. This past August it hit 45 killings. The police do respond, but not as fast, and when they do, they wait for reinforcements before they enter the questionable neighborhoods.
The American media, national network television stations have shy ed away from in depth coverage on the subject as most have been sympathetic to President Obama's left wing, liberal policies and have not criticized his administration on a wide range of subjects, like this one.
Crime, murders in particular, have risen in most American major cities as a result of this phenomenon and a large segment of the public at large have resorted to carrying handguns. The NRA the FBI have speculated the number of firearms in the country is NOW at or near one per every man, woman and child who is an American.
