Chris Christy
So, the of the large one in New Jersey has begun. Ask him if he blew it with his base while hand holding along side our socialist president and he will say, no.
And, I believe he believes it.
Christy is dead set on his own opinions. Does he strike you as being wishy-washy? No, me neither. His presumed status as a presidential front runner for 2016 is anything but assured in my mind: at least as a Republican. Would he switch? Maybe. "Man of the People? " That might fly, the intellect of the voter in New Jersey, having circled the drain reflected in last November's votes across this vast land of ours.
At this point in time, merely a snapshot of the position of the players into the first year of the second season of our fall from grace, we as a nation will just have to hole on, endure, and fight back. We can recover. The effect of Jan 1 and it's inherent tax increases hitting everyone of every income level has not yet 'clunked' in the back of Joe Six-Pack's mind. When it does - look out.
And never forget, Christy is a politician. The Kennedys were the last of that kind of politician who felt deeply that this calling could actually change things, help people, move the culture in a positive direction. But, that was then, this, regretably is now.
Today, things changed. Human natures have morphed into more sinister, self-serving, duplicitious reactions to modern environments. Trust is harder earned, tougher to give. Believe me.
" In general, the art of government consists of taking as much money as possible from one party of the citizenry to give to the other.".........Voltaire (1764)
