The First Amendment - Freedom of Speech, a real biggie

Its tough, this thing about speech... I know, "fire" in a crowded theatre and all that, and no "buts" follow my pronouncements.
Over the holiday I read, watch, absorb all and I happen to watch the tube and some inane actress spout something about blogs and "how can they say such a thing, there OUGHT TO BE A LAW AGAINST IT. "
She driveled on about having them arrested, fined and imprisoned about defiling her sacred opinions purloined on the net and those who do should be eviscerated in the public.
I threw whatever was handy at the tube.
She, taking full advantage of the First Amendment was unloading her own opinions all over the nation, whom, I gather couldn't get to the channel selector fast enough to switch off her ill-conceived left-wing logic fast enough.
My way, or, as they say, the highway.
Repeat the big lie often and loudly, and the dummies out there will soon follow along, mouthing the words for you. Who said that? No, not the communists, although that worked well for them. It was the guy in the funny moustache. You can see the results in the old 1936 - 1940 films on the History Channel taken by Lanni Riefenstahl as the hypnotized crowds, eyes glazed over, joy bursting from their faces, cries leaping from the girls lips, "I'll gladly have your baby" as the Fuhrer rode by.
It works. Be careful what you believe in, it could bite you.
