Getting Older, You don't get "Stupid-er"

I have noticed that the world is now filled with sales people, men, women, ( boys and girls, it seems like), and when they approach older people, like me, they sound STUPID.
For instance, they repeat themselves, like I'm "Oh you're not going to buy, I can tell, because YOU can't afford it!!" Great tactic, insult the old guy. He lot a $1,000. Boy, was he surprised.
I saw a high-end department store clerk in Tucson bully an elderly lady until she got up walked out and was trailed by the clerk yelling at her.
Management doesn't teach them to look at people in the face and determine who people are and how to evaluate how to deal with each one on a human In These kids are the computer generation. They form relationships with inanimate boxes in the corner of their rooms, more easily than they ever do with people on the jobs. Perhaps it is difficult for them to feel empathy with older folks, young ones, maybe, but they obviously disconnect from the reality of life and most of the people around them.
This, in my opinion, may havoc our society in half a century forward. One of the by products of the blank stare of Steve Jobs and almost holy reverence paid his death, candles flickering in the wind when his holiness passed from this earth. In perspective, his contributions were immense, but, he built little electronic boxes that processed information that eventually got between us meeting together at the malt shop.
