Political Stories that get buried?? Where'd they Go?

Anderson Cooper put Sarah Palin in a brace during an interview, just damn disrespectful, if you ask me. She makes a remark, he gets in a snit, " I don't know what that means, Governor," and twits on. She gracefully answers and the interview is over. If Cooper had done that with anyone gay, in the sportlight, or wearing sequins, he probably would have been far less fractious, I suppose.
A school on the Arizona/Mexico border is written about two years ago in the Phoenix paper for it's sub-standard teaching staff speaking spanish to it's students, to other teachers, mis-pronouncing English words, producing glaring English words on black boards, etc. Az state board of Ed climbs in with fire-works, hits the press, inspectors all over the place, news articles, bad feelings, you name it.
Nothing. A lot of sturm and drang later, no more action, less publicity, banners are drawn up, hung over door ways, "English this, English that, English speaking Spanish teachers recruited quietly, end of story.
No follow up in the press, no follow through by the state board of Ed, it was as if someone died. Ad hominims all around. Black suits, quietness abounds.
