Mid-Term Elections/ A Rift in the Space Time Continuum?
It cannot be as the newspapers say, that the interest in mid-terms is falling off. It cannot be. Television specials decry "gamma-ray bombardment from space" that from which we cannot survive. Bill Clinton named by Time magazine as one of the most influential & powerful people on the mud-ball, (has anyone READ "Dereliction of Duty" by Col. Buzz Patterson, or "Unlimited Access" by former FBI agent Gary Aldrich) O'bama stearing his course through the political mindfield of deeper and deeper debt, China headed for a divorce court with us.
Democrats are headed for a life boat, Mexicans are now charging north in record numbers, then southward, broke. They can't make a living in America, either - just like you or me.
McCain's people called me yesterday, asked me for his vote, of course, I said yes, somebody has got to run this thing after we hit the wall. Holy Mary, even Congressman Raul Grijalva has begged his people to call off the Arizona boycott WHICH HE STARTED.
Craziness, absolute craziness everywhere. I have never been this apprehensive in my own country in my 70 years of life since Jane Fonda was running around the Hanoi Hilton with Ramsey Clarke.
Syndicated columnist George Will, a brilliant mind nonetheless, wrote today about Israel's plight with it's Arab neighbors and it's prospect for war in the Middle East. Brilliant analysis as always, but my God, things are nearly on the rocks here, I'm petrified about the possible outbreak of civil unrest in the southwest. I lawfully carry a pistol most days of the week.
