WILL ROGERS OUR NATIONAL HERO AND PRESIDENT TRUMP

In a gentler time, critics and their criticisms rained down on our government as badly as today, but there was an element of respect.
And, of loyalty, to the flag, the country, and to the system in which we live (long may it wave)
WILL ROGERS, an American Indian by birth from Oolaga, Oklahoma, and with the slow drawl and humor typical of the southern cowboy, he punched holes in the way we thought about thihgs, and our cherished phoney beliefs:
              *   AN AWFUL LOT OF PEOPLE ARE PREDICTING THE PRESIDENT'S DOWNFALL!! IN FACT, NOT ONLY PREDICTING, BUT PRAYING FOR IT.  WE ARE A FUNNY PEOPLE, ELECTING EITHER DEMOCRATS OR REPUBLICANS, THEN GO HOME AND DARING THEM TO DO GOOD!"
              *   " Here we are, can't handle our own affairs, yet we're yapping about what the president SHOULD have done!!"
               *   " THE PRESIDENT GOES ON THE AIR TONIGHT. EVEN IF HE'S GOOD, THERE'S PLENTY OF THEM THAT WON'T LIKE IT. HE CAN SPEAK ON THE LORD'S SUPPER AND HE WILL HAVE EDITORIALS AGAINST IT."

My point exactly, Will. Roger's home rests against the slopping mountains of central Oklahoma. It sits alone amidst the white picket horse fencing of the family farm around it. Inside, the first door on the right is his mother's bedroom in which Will Roger's was born.
on the top floor, forward to the sun roof is the area where Will Rogers slept most of his life while he lived there - out doors, covered in blankets under the canopy. This kid was a tough one growing up. The horse ranch below was where he learned all his roping tricks seen everywhere on film, stage and screen. He could do everything with a lariat and a Mustang. His international stage career followed and films although not as successful
everyone remembers his favorite pinched Missouri white hat. At the end of the long hall way leading down to the kitchen, it hangs on a wall peg, patiently waiting for his return.
we have something to learn from him. "  I NEVER MET A MAN I DIDN'T LIKE."
