BILL COSBY
As they circle the wagons in anticipation of an Indian attack, one has become circumspect about Cosby's case.
First, there is the law: he has hired an attorney who I assume has advised him to say nothing. At law, there is innocence in silence. That is what he has done. Refer to St Thomas Moore on that one.
A national magazine has today published an edition with a cover showing pictures of ALL the women making accusations. This is very damning.
To the average citizen sitting out here consuming whatever comes my way, it is difficult to separate fact, fiction, wishful thinking, slanted reporting, biased news coverage or views that verge on defamation.
If he's guilty, who will bring forth the irrefutable evidence? What jury can they impanel that can be wholly unbiased?
And, let's say, in the unlikely event he is somehow adjudged innocent, this affair will live with him and his family forever. And, in the show business world, behind his back, there will always be that whispering campaign, " well, there were some QUESTIONS about what happened that were never resolved. It's better to avoid the possibility of a problem." (I'll bet you)
